Possible Causes
Failed circulation pump motor, Jammed impeller, Seized motor bearings, Faulty motor capacitor (if used)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and water. Internal components can be sharp and heavy.
- Listen for motor: During a wash cycle (before disconnecting), note if you hear a hum or clicking. A hum without water movement suggests a stuck motor.
- Check for obstructions: Remove filters and inspect the sump for foreign objects blocking the impeller.
- Access pump: From the bottom, remove the circulation pump assembly. Inspect the impeller for damage and attempt to spin it by hand. It should turn smoothly.
- Replace pump assembly: If the motor is seized or impeller is damaged, install a new Zline circulation pump assembly.
