Possible Causes
Worn or damaged door gasket, Clogged lower spray arm causing misdirected spray, Dishwasher not level and leaning forward, Over-sudsing from wrong detergent
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water if the leak is significant.
- Check detergent: Verify that only dishwasher detergent is used. If dish soap was used, run multiple rinse cycles to clear suds.
- Level the unit: Adjust front leveling legs so the dishwasher is slightly tilted back, preventing water from sloshing against the door.
- Inspect door gasket: Examine the perimeter gasket for tears, flattening, or gaps. Clean it and the mating surfaces. Replace the gasket if worn.
- Clean lower spray arm: Remove and clean the lower spray arm. Ensure no jets are blocked and that the arm spins freely without hitting the door.
