• Inspect vent and fan: Access the inner door panel and locate the vent and drying fan. Check for lint, plastic wrap, or mineral buildup blocking airflow. Clean thoroughly.
• Test fan motor: With power off, disconnect the fan and measure resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Replace the fan assembly if defective.
• Inspect wiring: Look for burnt connectors or damaged insulation on wires leading to the drying heater or fan.
• Replace drying heater (if equipped): If the fan runs but there is no heat, test the dedicated drying heater for continuity and replace if open.
