Possible Causes
Water inlet tap closed or low pressure, Blocked condenser rinsing nozzles, Faulty water inlet valve, Kinked or blocked water inlet hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the dryer from mains power and close the water tap before any work. Do not work on live equipment.
- 1. Check water supply: Ensure the water tap feeding the dryer (for condenser rinsing models) is fully open. Verify household water pressure by opening a nearby tap.
- 2. Inspect inlet hose: Pull the dryer slightly forward, check that the blue water inlet hose is not kinked, crushed, or twisted. Straighten it and ensure the filter screens at both ends are not clogged with limescale or debris. Clean the filters under running water.
- 3. Clean condenser rinsing nozzles: Remove the lower front condenser access panel (if fitted). Locate the small spray nozzles above the condenser. Use a soft brush and warm water to remove limescale or lint buildup.
- 4. Test the inlet valve: Restore power and water, start a cycle and listen for the inlet valve click and water flow. If there is no sound and water supply is confirmed, the inlet valve may be faulty and should be replaced.
- 5. When to call a technician: If E10 persists after cleaning filters and confirming water supply, the water inlet valve or control board may require professional diagnosis and replacement.
