• Inspect rollers: Spin each drum roller by hand. Replace any that are noisy, flat-spotted, or seized.
• Check idler pulley: Rotate the idler pulley. Replace if it squeals, wobbles, or feels rough.
• Inspect drum glides: On models with front glides, check for worn-through pads. Replace as a set if worn.
• Replace belt if worn: If the belt is cracked or glazed, replace it while the dryer is open.
• Reassemble and test: Reinstall the drum and panels, then run a test cycle to confirm the noise is gone.
