How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before disassembly.
- Access moving parts: Remove the front panel and drum to reach rollers and idler pulley.
- Inspect rollers and idler: Spin each by hand. If they squeak or feel rough, replace them. Do not apply oil to rubber surfaces.
- Clean and lightly lubricate shafts: Remove rollers and idler, clean shafts, and apply a small amount of high-temperature dryer-safe lubricant to metal shafts only.
- Replace belt if worn: Install a new belt if it shows cracks or glazing.
