Dryer runs but clothes come out wrinkled or very hot at the end of the cycle.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before internal checks.

• Use appropriate cycles: Select automatic cycles with lower heat for delicate fabrics and remove clothes promptly at cycle end.
• Clean moisture sensor bars: Wipe the sensor bars with rubbing alcohol to restore accurate sensing.
• Test cycling thermostat: Verify it cycles the heater on and off at the correct temperatures. Replace if it allows excessive heat.
• Check control relay: If the heater stays on continuously, the control board’s heater relay may be stuck and the board should be replaced.
