Possible Causes
Faulty NTC sensor, Stuck heater relay, Moisture sensor not detecting dryness correctly, Incorrect program selection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before testing sensors or the control board.
- Verify program selection: Ensure you are using appropriate programs for fabric type (e.g., synthetic vs. cotton) and not using high heat for delicate items.
- Clean moisture sensor bars: Wipe the sensor strips inside the drum to restore accurate dryness detection.
- Test NTC sensor: Access the NTC on the heater or air duct and measure its resistance at room temperature. Replace if out of specification.
- Check heater relay: If the heater appears to stay on continuously, the relay on the PCB may be stuck closed. This typically requires PCB replacement.
- Use anti-crease function: If available, enable the anti-crease or cool-down function to reduce wrinkling at the end of the cycle.
