Possible Causes
Dryer not leveled, Worn or missing leveling feet, Uneven floor surface, Loose drum baffles or internal components
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the dryer before adjusting feet or inspecting internal parts.
- Level the dryer: Place a spirit level on top of the dryer. Adjust the front and rear leveling feet until the unit is level side-to-side and front-to-back. Lock the feet if possible.
- Check floor stability: Ensure the dryer is on a solid, non-flexing surface. Avoid placing it on thick carpets or unstable platforms.
- Inspect drum baffles: Open the door and check the plastic or metal baffles inside the drum. Tighten any loose screws from inside the drum.
- Check for loose components: Remove the top cover and verify that the motor, blower housing, and counterweights (if fitted) are securely fastened.
- Load distribution: Avoid drying single heavy items (e.g., one large towel or duvet) that can cause imbalance. Mix large and small items in the load.
