Dryer takes too long to dry; cycles end but clothes are still damp or warm

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing panels or internal ducts.

• Clean lint filter: Remove and wash the filter with warm soapy water if coated. Dry fully before refitting.
• Clean condenser/heat exchanger: On condenser and heat pump models, remove the condenser unit and rinse thoroughly to remove lint.
• Check exhaust (vented models): Clean the exhaust hose and wall vent. Shorten overly long or crushed hoses.
• Clean moisture sensors: Wipe the drum sensor bars with a cloth and white vinegar to remove residue that can misread dryness.
• Load size and settings: Avoid overloading and ensure the correct program is selected for the fabric type.
