Moisture Sensor Circuit Fault
Dryer stops or will not start, F10 displayed, often related to moisture sensing

Possible Causes
Dirty or coated drum moisture sensor bars, Broken wire from sensor to control board, Faulty sensor harness connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before working inside the drum or control area.
- Clean sensor bars: Locate the two metal strips (moisture sensors) inside the drum, usually near the lint filter opening. Clean them thoroughly with a soft cloth and a little white vinegar or mild detergent to remove fabric softener residue.
- Inspect for damage: Check that the sensor bars are not bent, loose, or covered by plastic film. Ensure mounting screws are tight.
- Check wiring: From the rear or front access, trace the wires from the sensor bars to the control board. Look for broken wires or loose connectors and reseat them.
- Test with timed cycle: Try running a timed (non‑sensor) drying program. If this works but auto cycles fail, the moisture sensing circuit is likely at fault and may require sensor or board replacement.
