Safety first: Disconnect power before removing lower panels; removing the tank itself is safe with power on but avoid spills.

• Empty tank: Slide out the water tank, empty it completely, and rinse to remove lint.
• Check seating: Reinsert the tank firmly until it is fully home. Some Ariston models require a positive click to engage the sensor.
• Inspect sensor area: Look for broken plastic tabs or switches where the tank engages. If damaged, the sensor or housing may need replacement.
• Bypass test (for technicians only): A professional may temporarily bridge the tank switch to confirm diagnosis. Do not operate the dryer long‑term with the switch bypassed.
