Dryer is very noisy during operation; banging, rumbling, or scraping sounds from the drum area.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before disassembly. Sharp edges inside the cabinet can cause injury.

• Check for loose items: Stop the dryer and inspect the drum for coins, buttons, or other objects; remove any found.
• Access drum supports:
  • Remove the top and front panels.
  • Lift the drum slightly to inspect front glides or rollers.
• Inspect components:
  • Spin drum rollers by hand; replace if noisy, wobbly, or seized.
  • Check the rear bearing (if fitted) for excessive play or grinding; replace if worn.
  • Inspect felt seals for tears or missing sections.
• Reassemble: After replacing worn parts, reassemble the cabinet and test for quieter operation.

Note: Continued use with worn bearings can damage the drum and cabinet.
