Dryer will not start, display shows F01 immediately or after pressing Start.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer from the mains before removing any panels. Capacitors on the control board can retain charge; avoid touching board components directly.

• Power reset: Disconnect the dryer from power for at least 5 minutes, then plug back in and try to start a cycle. Sometimes F01 is a temporary communication glitch.
• Check supply and plug: Verify the wall outlet has correct voltage and that the plug and cord are not burnt or loose.
• Inspect control connections:
  • Remove the top cover (usually rear screws, then slide back).
  • Locate the main control board at the top rear or side.
  • Check all wiring harness connectors for firm seating and signs of burning or corrosion.
• Look for visible board damage: Burn marks, swollen components, or cracked solder joints indicate a failed PCB that must be replaced.
• If F01 persists: The main control board/EEPROM is likely defective. Replacement requires transferring each connector one by one to the new board, matching positions exactly.
