How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the appliance from mains power before removing the control panel.
- Power cycle: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect and test. Temporary glitches can clear with a reset.
- Access control panel:
- Remove the top cover.
- Unscrew and gently pull out the front control panel.
- Locate the ribbon cable or harness connecting the UI to the main board.
- Check connections: Reseat the ribbon cable at both ends, ensuring it is straight and fully inserted.
- Inspect for moisture: Look for signs of condensation or liquid damage on the UI board; dry gently if slightly damp, but replace if corrosion is present.
- Test operation: Reassemble and test. If F11 returns, either the UI board or main PCB may need replacement.
Note: Static discharge can damage electronic boards; avoid touching contacts and use ESD precautions if available.
