Full or incorrectly seated water tank, Faulty tank level switch, Blocked sensor in tank housing, Wiring fault to level sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing internal covers. Removing and emptying the water tank can be done with power off and door closed.

  • Empty and reseat tank:
    • Remove the condensate water tank and empty it completely.
    • Clean the tank and its contacts (if present) with a dry cloth.
    • Reinsert firmly until it clicks into place.
  • Check tank compartment: Inspect for lint or debris that may block the level sensor or float.
  • Level switch: If accessible, test the tank level switch or sensor for proper operation and continuity.
  • Wiring: Ensure the harness from the tank area to the control board is intact.

Note: Some models will not run if the tank is missing or not fully inserted, even if empty.
