Sensor Dry Algorithm / Moisture and Temperature Feedback Issues
Dryer display shows unusually long remaining times or time jumps up and down during sensor cycles.

Possible Causes
Dirty moisture sensors, Inaccurate NTC temperature sensor, Mixed fabric loads confusing sensor, Control software behavior
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before cleaning sensors or accessing internal parts.
Fluctuating time estimates are often normal but can be worsened by sensor issues.
- Clean moisture sensors: Wipe the sensor bars inside the drum to ensure accurate readings.
- Avoid very small or mixed loads: Extremely small loads or a mix of heavy and light fabrics can cause the control to recalculate time frequently. Group similar fabrics together.
- Check NTC sensor: If drying performance is also poor, test the NTC temperature sensor for correct resistance and replace if faulty.
- Use timed cycles when needed: For loads that consistently confuse the sensor system, use a manual timed program.
