Dryer drum light does not turn on when the door is opened (on models with drum light).

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before replacing bulbs or accessing wiring.

A non-working drum light is usually a simple fix.

• Replace bulb (if applicable): Remove the light cover inside the drum and replace the bulb with the correct type and wattage specified by Blomberg.
• Check door switch: Some models use the door switch to control the light. Test the switch for proper operation and replace if faulty.
• Inspect wiring: Ensure the wires to the light socket or LED module are secure.
• Control issue: If the light is LED-driven from the control board and all else is good, the board may have a failed light circuit. This is cosmetic and does not affect drying, but board replacement is required to restore the light.
