Dryer makes a rattling or clinking noise, especially with certain loads.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before reaching into internal areas.

Rattling is often caused by loose items.

• Check drum and baffles: Inspect inside the drum and under/inside the baffles for coins, buttons, or other small items. Remove any found.
• Inspect lint filter housing: Remove the filter and look down into the housing with a flashlight. Retrieve any objects with a flexible grabber tool.
• Check blower fan: If noise persists, access the blower housing and inspect for debris caught in the fan. Remove carefully.
