Possible Causes

Severely restricted exhaust duct, Crushed or kinked vent hose, Blocked lint passages inside dryer, Faulty airflow sensor (if equipped)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before moving or disconnecting vents.

  • Inspect vent hose: Pull the dryer away from the wall. Check that the flexible duct is not crushed, kinked, or excessively long. Replace with a rigid or semi-rigid metal duct if possible.
  • Clean vent system: Disconnect the duct from both the dryer and wall. Use a vent brush or vacuum to remove lint from the entire run to the outside. Ensure the exterior vent flap opens freely.
  • Clean internal lint passages: Remove the rear panel and carefully vacuum lint from around the blower housing and exhaust channel. Do not disturb wiring or sensors.
  • Check airflow sensor (if present): Some Bosch models use a pressure or airflow sensor. Inspect the small rubber hose and connections for blockages or cracks. Replace the sensor if readings are erratic.

After reassembly, run a timed cycle with no load to confirm normal operation and that E03 does not reappear.
