Dryer emits musty or moldy smell on clothes

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before cleaning internal components.

Steps:

• 1. Deep clean lint filter area: Remove the lint filter and clean the housing with a mild detergent solution. Dry thoroughly.
• 2. Clean condenser: Remove the condenser and wash thoroughly with warm water. Allow to dry.
• 3. Empty and clean water tank: Rinse the condensate tank with a mild bleach solution, then rinse with clean water.
• 4. Run a hot maintenance cycle: With the drum empty, run a high-heat cycle for 30 minutes to dry out internal components.
