Restricted Airflow / Inefficient Drying
Dryer heats but takes very long to dry clothes, sometimes requiring multiple cycles

Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter, Blocked exhaust duct or wall vent, Dirty condenser unit, Partially blocked blower housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing panels or hoses.
Steps:
- 1. Clean lint filter thoroughly: Remove lint and, if mesh is coated, wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- 2. Inspect exhaust path (vented models): Remove the exhaust hose and clean it end-to-end. Check the wall vent for lint buildup or stuck flap. Ensure the hose is not crushed behind the dryer.
- 3. Clean condenser (condenser/heat pump models): Remove the condenser and rinse under running water until clear. Let it drain before reinstalling.
- 4. Internal airflow: If performance is still poor, remove rear or side panels and vacuum lint from blower housing, heater housing, and ducts.
Tip: Overloading the drum also increases drying time; fill only to about 2/3 of drum volume.
