Possible Causes
Blown household fuse or tripped breaker, Faulty power cord, Loose mains terminal block connection, Defective main control board power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the circuit breaker and unplug the dryer before inspecting internal connections.
Steps:
- 1. Check outlet and breaker: Test the outlet with another appliance. Reset any tripped breaker or replace blown fuses.
- 2. Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. Replace if damaged.
- 3. Check terminal block: Remove the rear cover over the mains terminal block. Tighten all screws and look for burnt wires. Repair or replace damaged parts.
- 4. Control board: If power is present at the terminal block but the control panel remains dead, the internal power supply on the main control board may have failed and the board will need replacement.
