Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter, Blocked condenser or vent hose, Dirty moisture sensor bars, Overloaded drum
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before cleaning internal ducts; cleaning filters can be done with power off and door open.
- Clean lint filter: Remove and clean the door filter after every load. Wash with warm water if coated with residue.
- Clean condenser or vent: On condenser models, remove and wash the condenser. On vented models, disconnect and clean the vent hose and external vent grille.
- Clean moisture sensors: Wipe the metal sensor bars inside the drum with a non-abrasive pad and mild cleaner to remove fabric softener film.
- Avoid overloading: Dry smaller loads and separate heavy items (towels, bedding) to improve airflow and sensor accuracy.
