Safety first: Switch off and unplug the dryer before accessing internal components.

• Empty and reseat the water tank: Remove the condensate water tank (usually at the top left or bottom front). Empty it completely, rinse it, and push it back firmly until it clicks into place.
• Clean the tank housing contacts: Wipe any moisture or lint from the tank sensor contacts and the mating contacts in the housing. Poor contact can falsely indicate a full tank.
• Check the lower sump and pump area: On Bush condenser models, remove the lower front flap and pull out the condenser unit. Inspect the sump area for lint, fluff, or debris blocking the water channel. Carefully remove any buildup.
• Test the condensate pump (if fitted): Some Bush dryers use a small pump to move water to the tank. Access it from the rear or bottom. Check for obstructions in the pump inlet and outlet hoses. If the pump does not run when the machine is powered and calling for drain, it may need replacement.
• Inspect float or level sensor: If there is a float chamber, ensure the float moves freely and is not stuck with lint. Clean and reassemble.
• Reset and test: Refit all parts, plug in, and run a short cycle to see if E03 clears. If the error persists despite a clear system, the level sensor or control PCB may be faulty and require professional service.
