Possible Causes

Severely clogged lint filter, Blocked condenser unit or heat exchanger, Obstructed internal air ducts, Failed or obstructed circulation fan motor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the dryer before cleaning internal components.

  • Clean the lint filter: Remove the door filter and any secondary filters. Wash with warm water and dry completely. Remove all lint and fluff.
  • Clean the condenser/heat exchanger: Open the lower front flap and remove the condenser unit (if fitted). Rinse thoroughly under running water to remove lint from the fins. Allow to drain and dry before refitting.
  • Inspect air ducts: With the rear panel removed, check the air channels from the heater to the drum and from the drum to the condenser. Remove any lint build-up using a vacuum and soft brush.
  • Check the fan wheel: Locate the blower fan (usually near the motor). Ensure it is not clogged with lint and that it spins freely. Tighten if loose on the shaft. Replace the fan or motor if damaged.
  • Reset and test: After cleaning, reassemble all panels, plug in the dryer, and run a timed warm cycle. If E07 reappears quickly, the airflow sensor or control PCB may be faulty and require professional diagnosis.
