Possible Causes

Loose ribbon cable between UI board and main PCB, Faulty control panel PCB, Liquid ingress into control fascia, Firmware communication error

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the appliance from the mains before removing the control panel.

  • Inspect the control fascia: Check for signs of moisture or detergent spills on the buttons or display. Allow the panel to dry completely if recently exposed to liquid.
  • Check ribbon cable connections: Remove the top cover and gently release the control panel. Locate the flat ribbon cable or harness between the UI board and main PCB. Reseat both ends carefully, ensuring they are fully inserted and locked.
  • Look for damage on the UI board: Examine the control panel PCB for burnt components, corrosion, or cracked solder joints. Replace the panel if visibly damaged.
  • Power reset: Leave the dryer unplugged for 10–15 minutes, then reconnect and test. Sometimes a communication error can clear with a full power cycle.
  • If E11 persists: Either the UI board or main PCB is likely faulty. Replacement of one or both boards may be required and is best handled by a technician.
