Possible Causes

Faulty ambient NTC sensor near air intake, Loose sensor connector, Damaged wiring to sensor, Control PCB sensor circuit failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the dryer from mains before accessing internal components.

  • Locate the ambient NTC: On some Bush models, an additional NTC is fitted near the air intake or control panel area. Refer to the wiring layout if available.
  • Inspect and reseat connector: Ensure the sensor plug is firmly connected and free from corrosion or damage.
  • Test sensor resistance: Remove the sensor and measure its resistance at room temperature. Compare with expected values from a service manual if available. Replace if open, shorted, or far out of range.
  • Check wiring harness: Verify continuity from the sensor back to the main PCB. Repair any damaged wires.
  • If E14 persists: The main PCB may have a defective sensor input circuit. Board repair or replacement is usually required.
