• Verify mains supply: Ensure the dryer is connected directly to a suitable wall socket. Avoid multi-way adapters. If possible, measure voltage with a multimeter (by a competent person).
• Inspect terminal block: Remove the small cover where the mains cable enters the dryer. Check that live, neutral, and earth screws are tight and that there are no signs of overheating or melting.
• Check mains filter: Locate the mains interference filter (often near the cable entry). Inspect for bulging, burning, or cracked casing. Replace if damaged.
• Internal wiring check: Follow the live and neutral wires from the terminal block to the PCB, ensuring all connectors are secure.
• If E15 remains: The power relay or power supply section on the main PCB may be faulty. This is a high-voltage area and should be serviced by a qualified technician.
