Dryer produces a rattling or clanking noise during operation

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before internal inspection.

• Check drum: Inspect the drum interior and baffles for loose objects. Remove any coins, buttons, or hardware.
• Inspect blower: Remove the front or rear panel (depending on model) to access the blower housing. Check for objects inside the blower wheel and remove them.
• Check baffles: Wiggle each drum baffle; tighten or replace if loose or broken.
• Tighten panels: Ensure all cabinet screws are tight to prevent panel rattling.
