Dryer runs but sensor dry cycles end too soon and clothes are still damp

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing wiring; cleaning can be done with power off and door open.

• Clean sensor bars: Thoroughly clean the moisture sensor bars with rubbing alcohol to remove residue.
• Use larger loads: Very small loads may not contact the sensor bars well; add a few similar items.
• Inspect wiring: Access the back of the sensor bars and ensure the harness is secure.
• Replace sensor: If cleaning and wiring checks do not help, replace the moisture sensor assembly.
• Use timed dry: As a workaround, use timed dry cycles until the sensor system is repaired.
