Possible Causes
Faulty low-voltage power supply on main control board, Loose neutral connection, Intermittent power cord connection, Internal control board failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the control board or terminal block.
- Check supply connections: Inspect the terminal block at the rear of the dryer for tight, secure connections and no signs of overheating.
- Verify outlet voltage: If qualified, measure voltage at the outlet to ensure it is within Café specifications (typically 120/240V ±10%).
- Access control board: Remove the top panel and control cover to access the main control board. Check that all harness connectors are fully seated.
- Visual inspection: Look for bulging capacitors, burnt components, or discoloration on the board. If present, replace the main control board.
- Power reset: After reseating connectors, restore power and test. If E12 returns, the control board's internal power supply is likely faulty and requires replacement.
