Humidity / Sensor Dry Calibration Fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing wiring; cleaning the sensor bars can be done with power off and door open.
- Clean moisture sensor bars: Use a soft cloth and rubbing alcohol to thoroughly clean the metal sensor bars inside the drum. Remove all residue.
- Run sensor calibration (if available): Some Café models allow a sensor calibration cycle via service mode. Refer to the service manual or Café support to initiate calibration.
- Inspect harness: Access the back of the sensor bars and check the harness for secure connections and no damage.
- Use timed dry: Until the sensor system is repaired or recalibrated, use timed dry cycles to avoid inconsistent drying.
- Control update: If E16 persists, a control board software update or replacement may be required; contact Café service.
