Restricted Airflow / Poor Drying Performance
Dryer heats but takes very long to dry; clothes are warm but still damp after a full cycle.

Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter, Blocked condenser unit (condenser/heat pump models), Blocked or excessively long vent hose (vented models), Lint buildup in internal ducts or fan housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before internal cleaning.
Airflow restoration:
- Clean lint filter: Remove and wash with warm soapy water to clear fine residues. Dry fully.
- Clean condenser: On Candy condenser/heat pump dryers, remove the condenser at the bottom front and rinse thoroughly from both sides.
- Check vent hose: For vented models, shorten overly long hoses, remove kinks, and clean out lint. Ensure the external vent flap opens freely.
- Internal cleaning: If comfortable, remove front or rear panels and vacuum lint from ducts, fan housing, and around the heater.
After cleaning, run a load with moderate size (not overfilled). If drying is still poor, the moisture sensor or control logic may be misreading and require further diagnosis.
