Safety first: Unplug the Candy dryer and allow it to cool.

Checks:

• Clean filters and vents: Before internal work, clean the lint filter, condenser (if fitted), and vent hose to ensure good airflow.
• Access heater: Remove the rear panel to reach the heater housing. Note wiring positions.
• Test heater: Disconnect heater terminals and measure resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed heater that must be replaced.
• Check thermostats: Test thermostats on the heater housing for continuity. Replace any open, non-resettable thermostats.
• Inspect wiring: Repair or replace any burnt or broken wires or connectors.

Reassemble and test a warm cycle. If still no heat with good heater and thermostats, the control board or heater relay may be faulty and should be checked by a technician.
