Possible Causes
Faulty exhaust NTC sensor, Damaged wiring to exhaust sensor, Poor sensor contact with duct
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer and allow it to cool.
Locate the exhaust NTC:
- On some Candy models, a second NTC is fitted on the exhaust duct or near the condenser.
- Remove the relevant panel to access it.
Test and replace:
- Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at room temperature; compare with service data or with the main NTC if identical type.
- If open, shorted, or far out of range, replace with a compatible Candy NTC.
- Ensure it is firmly clipped to the duct for accurate readings.
Reassemble and test a warm cycle to confirm E11 is cleared.
