How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before replacing the lamp or accessing the door switch.
- Replace lamp: Access the drum light cover inside the drum, remove it, and replace the bulb with the correct type and rating specified by Caple.
- Check lamp holder: Inspect for corrosion or heat damage. Replace if necessary.
- Test door switch: Some models use the door switch to control the light. Test the switch contacts and replace if the light contact has failed.
