Dryer runs but the time remaining display does not count down correctly or jumps unexpectedly.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before cleaning sensor bars or accessing internal wiring.

• Clean moisture sensor bars: Wipe the metal strips inside the drum with a cloth and white vinegar to remove residues.
• Avoid small loads on auto programs: Very small loads can confuse moisture sensing. Use timed programs for small items.
• Check drum grounding: Ensure the drum is properly grounded via the bearing and grounding strap. Repair if loose or broken.
• Test moisture sensor wiring: Inspect and test continuity from sensor bars to PCB. Repair or replace harness if faulty.
