Dryer takes too long to dry clothes; cycles run to completion but laundry is still slightly damp.

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing lower panels or internal ducts.

• Clean lint filter: Remove and thoroughly clean the lint filter after every load. Wash with warm soapy water if coated.
• Clean condenser/heat exchanger: Remove the condenser unit and flush it with warm water until clear. Remove lint from the housing and seals.
• Check venting (vented models): Inspect the exhaust hose and external vent for kinks, crushing, or lint build-up. Clean or replace as needed.
• Inspect circulation fan: Access the fan and blower housing. Remove lint build-up and ensure the fan spins freely. Replace the fan motor if weak or noisy.
• Load and program check: Avoid overloading the drum and select appropriate dryness level. Overloading can significantly increase drying time.
