Dryer door will not open at the end of the cycle; door remains locked.

Safety first: Turn off power before attempting to release the door manually. Do not force the door open with excessive strength to avoid damage.

• Wait for cool-down: Some models keep the door locked until the drum temperature drops. Wait 5–10 minutes and try again.
• Power reset: Unplug the dryer for a few minutes, then reconnect and try to open the door.
• Manual release: Consult the user manual for a manual door release tab, often accessible through the filter opening or lower panel. Gently pull to release the lock.
• Inspect lock assembly: Once open and unplugged, remove the front panel and inspect the door lock assembly and handle. Replace if mechanically jammed or burnt.
