Possible Causes
Faulty Start button, Defective door switch, Child lock function enabled, Blown internal fuse on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before opening the control panel or accessing internal components.
- Check child lock: Refer to the user manual to see if a child lock icon is displayed. Disable the child lock using the specified button combination.
- Verify door closure: Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. If the door switch is not engaged, the dryer will not start.
- Test door switch: With power disconnected, access the door switch and test continuity when the door is closed. Replace if faulty.
- Check Start button: Remove the control panel and test the Start button or touchpad for proper operation. Replace the user interface board if the button is defective.
- Internal fuse: Some models have a small fuse on the control board. If blown, investigate the cause before replacing the board.
