Dryer has a musty or moldy smell that transfers to clothes.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before cleaning internal components.

• Clean lint filter housing: Remove the lint filter and use a vacuum and damp cloth to clean the housing thoroughly.
• Clean condenser and tank (if fitted): Remove and rinse the condenser unit. Empty and wash the condensate water tank with mild detergent, then dry.
• Dry the drum: Wipe the inside of the drum with a cloth dampened with a mild vinegar solution, then run an empty warm cycle to help dry and deodorize.
• Improve room ventilation: Ensure the dryer is in a well-ventilated area and that exhaust air is properly vented outside (for vented models).
