Dryer makes a rattling or scraping noise, especially at low speeds.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before inspecting internal components.

• Check drum interior: Inspect the inside of the drum and drum baffles for loose coins, buttons, or other objects. Remove any found.
• Inspect blower wheel: Remove the rear or lower front panel to access the blower housing. Check for debris inside the blower wheel and remove carefully.
• Tighten fasteners: Check screws securing the drum baffles and internal panels. Tighten any that are loose.
• Test run: After reassembly, run the dryer briefly to confirm the noise has been eliminated.
