Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing the rear panel or heater assembly.

• Confirm the symptom: Run the dryer on a high heat setting for 10 minutes. If the drum turns but the air inside remains cold, proceed with heater checks.
• Access heater assembly: Remove the rear panel to expose the heating element housing. Note wiring positions and take a photo.
• Test thermal devices: With a multimeter, check continuity across the thermal cut-out and thermostats on the heater housing. Replace any open devices.
• Test heating element: Disconnect the element leads and measure resistance across the element. An open circuit indicates a failed heating element that must be replaced.
• Inspect wiring: Look for burned or loose connectors at the heater and on the main control PCB heater relay. Repair or replace as needed.
