Moisture Sensing Inefficiency
Dryer stops with clothes still damp when using automatic sensor-dry cycles, but works better on timed cycles.

Possible Causes
Dirty moisture sensor bars, Poor contact between clothes and sensor, Faulty moisture sensor wiring, Out-of-calibration control algorithm
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing sensor wiring.
- Clean sensor bars: Locate the moisture sensor bars inside the drum and clean them thoroughly with a cloth and mild detergent or vinegar to remove any film.
- Avoid small loads: Very small loads may not make consistent contact with the sensor bars. Add a few similar items or use timed dry for very small loads.
- Inspect wiring: From behind the front panel, check the sensor wiring harness and connectors for damage or looseness.
- Test sensor: If you have a meter, verify that the sensor circuit responds when bridged with a damp cloth. Replace the moisture sensor assembly if it does not respond.
