Dryer will not start and displays E06, sometimes accompanied by a clicking sound from the control area.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer. Capacitors on the control board can hold charge; avoid touching bare solder joints.

• Check power supply: Confirm the wall outlet has correct voltage using a plug-in tester or multimeter. Verify the dryer plug and cord are not damaged.
• Inspect internal connections: Remove the top panel and access the main control PCB. Check that all multi-pin connectors are fully seated and that there are no signs of burning or melted plastic.
• Look for visible board damage: Examine the PCB for darkened areas, cracked solder joints around relays, or blown components. Any visible damage usually means the board must be replaced.
• Do not attempt relay-only replacement unless qualified: While some relays can be desoldered and replaced, this requires electronics skills. For most users, replacing the entire main control PCB is the practical repair.
• Reassemble and test: After reseating connectors or replacing the board, reassemble the dryer, restore power, and test for normal operation.
