Dryer shows E14 and will not start; door appears closed normally.

Safety first: Disconnect power before adjusting or replacing door components.

• Inspect door latch: Open the door and examine the door latch hook on the door and the catch on the cabinet. Replace any cracked or bent plastic parts.
• Check door alignment: Ensure the door sits evenly in the opening and closes flush. Adjust the door hinges if the door is sagging and not engaging the lock fully.
• Test door lock switch: Access the door lock assembly from behind the front panel. With a meter, test the microswitch for continuity when the door is closed. Replace the lock assembly if the switch does not change state.
• Inspect wiring: Check the harness from the door lock to the main control PCB for breaks or loose connectors, especially near the hinge area where flexing occurs.
