Dryer display shows incorrect remaining time or jumps suddenly to end of cycle while clothes are still wet.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing internal wiring.

• Clean sensor bars: Wipe the metal moisture sensor bars inside the drum with white vinegar or alcohol to remove residues.
• Check wiring: From inside the cabinet, inspect the sensor wiring harness and connectors. Reseat and repair as needed.
• Test on timed cycle: Run a timed (non-sensor) cycle. If drying is normal, the issue is likely with the moisture sensor system.
• Replace sensor: If cleaning does not help, replace the moisture sensor assembly. Persistent issues may require a control board update or replacement.
