Dryer takes too long to dry clothes; loads are still damp after a full cycle.

Possible Causes
Restricted airflow due to lint buildup, Clogged condenser (condenser models), Partially failed heating element, Faulty moisture sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before cleaning internal ducts or removing panels.
- Clean lint filter: Remove and thoroughly clean the lint filter. Wash with warm soapy water if coated with residue, then dry completely.
- Inspect and clean exhaust duct: For vented models, disconnect the exhaust hose and clean it and the wall vent. Ensure the outside flap opens fully.
- Clean condenser: For condenser/heat pump models, remove the condenser unit and rinse under running water to remove lint. Clean the housing and air channels.
- Check load size and sorting: Avoid overloading and mixing heavy items (towels) with light items. Spin clothes well in the washer before drying.
- Test moisture sensor: Clean the sensor bars inside the drum with vinegar or alcohol. If automatic cycles still end too early or too late, test and replace the moisture sensor assembly.
