Possible Causes

Low or high mains voltage, Loose power cord connection, Burned terminal block, Faulty line filter or power module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the circuit breaker and unplug the dryer. Working on live mains circuits is dangerous; use a qualified electrician if unsure.

  • Check outlet voltage: Use a multimeter to verify that the wall outlet supplies the correct voltage specified on the dryer rating plate. Significant deviation can trigger E10.
  • Inspect power cord and plug: Look for burn marks, melted plastic, or loose prongs. Replace the cord if damaged.
  • Examine terminal block: Remove the rear cover over the power cord entry. Inspect the terminal block for loose screws or burned connections. Tighten screws and replace any burned components.
  • Check line filter/power module: Inside the top or rear of the dryer, locate the line filter or power entry module. Inspect for signs of overheating. Test continuity and replace if faulty.
  • After corrections: Restore power and test. If E10 persists with correct supply voltage and good connections, the main PCB voltage sensing circuit may be defective.
